Will My Hair And Makeup Artist From My Preview Be The Same Artist On The Wedding Day?Yes! You will have the same artist for both your preview and wedding day. If for any reason the artist from your preview can not attend your wedding day we will provide an artist of an equal caliber for you.

How Do I Reserve My Date?30% deposit of the total contract is due to hold your wedding date and to secure your makeup artist & hairstylist. Without a deposit, your date is considered open and can be booked until a deposit is made.

Where are Services Held?We are on location, we come to your home, hotel or any venue where you may require our services.

Who Can Make the Payment?We kindly request that payment be made by one individual to JFA. We are unable to accept multiple payments from different members of the party. Typically, our brides collect payments from their bridal party and submit a single payment to our team. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Thank you for your understanding!

When Should I Have My Preview?We suggest having a Preview 2 or 3 months before your wedding date, but we are happy to try to accommodate the date that you request. Please keep in mind that our artists work other events on the weekends so availability is more limited. Weekdays and Sundays are preferred.

Which Forms of Payment are Accepted?All major credit cards are accepted however there is a 3% credit card processing fee. If you would like to avoid this fee we do also accept Zelle and then the credit card fee can be removed.

Do you offer tattoo coverup services, and what can I expect in terms of quality, longevity, and price?Yes, we offer professional tattoo coverup services using high-quality products designed to last all day without smudging. Our skilled makeup artists ensure that the coverup blends seamlessly with your skin tone, providing a natural and flawless finish. What Additional Fees Should I Expect?Valet parking must be provided for all our artists and stylists if available at the venue. If valet is not an option, an alternative parking arrangement must be made for our team. As all services are performed on location, travel and accommodation expenses will apply at the discretion of JFA. Our standard fees include a 20% service fee (gratuity) and a 3% credit card processing fee for those who choose to pay by card. Additionally, for events starting before 7 AM, an early morning fee of $50 per artist will apply.

Do I Have to Pay for a Preview?Yes, a preview is an important part of the process and is considered its own service. It gives you the chance to meet your artist, discuss your vision, and ensure we understand your likes and dislikes. During the preview, we’ll work together to craft the perfect look for your wedding day in a relaxed, stress-free environment. Since the artist comes to your location, uses their resources, techniques, and time to create the look, the preview does require payment. This ensures we provide the personalized attention and care necessary to bring your vision to life.

What Other Services Do You Offer?Beyond hair & makeup, we offer one-on-one makeup classes, or group lessons with 3 or more of your best friends! This includes hair extension application, tattoo coverup & skin care guidance.

When is Final Payment Due?All final payments are due the Tuesday prior to your event.

What’s Included in Services for the Bride?Services for the bride include a personalized experience with her choice of airbrush or traditional makeup application, ensuring a flawless and long-lasting finish. We also offer a customized hairstyle tailored to her vision, whether it’s an elegant updo, soft waves, or anything in between. To complete the look, we provide premium lashes that enhance her natural beauty and add a touch of glamour for the big day. Every detail is designed to make the bride feel radiant and confident.

How Much Time is Needed Per Person?Please allow 40 minutes per person, per service. Ideally, every member of the party is present at the beginning of services. Having dry hair & clean faces helps make the process quick & seamless!

Do You Have Any Minimums for Services?We do not have a minimum number of services required. Whether it’s just the bride or a bridal party of 20, we are happy to accommodate your needs. Please inquire about our availability, and we will gladly provide a customized experience tailored to your unique requirements.

What is the Difference Between Airbrush and Traditional Makeup?Airbrush makeup is applied as a fine mist using an air compressor and spray gun, creating a smooth, lightweight finish. Traditional makeup, on the other hand, is applied using hand tools such as brushes, beauty blenders, or sponges. If you're unsure which option is best for you, your makeup artist will assess your skin during your preview and provide personalized recommendations.

When Do I Need to Have My Final Count for Services?As soon as possible. Final count for services is due 4 weeks prior to event. No services can be removed once we are within 30 days, but services can be added up until the event date, given resource availability.

How Does Tipping Work?All of our contracts include a 20% service fee as part of the total cost. This is the gratuity to the artist. This allows you to see the total cost of your investment, and removes the need to worry about gratuity to the artists on your event date. You are welcome to tip your artist more on event date if you would like however it is absolutely not necessary.

How do changes to my contract work?All changes must be made to your contract before 30 days of the scheduled event. No services can be removed after 30 days, but services can still be added on at any point as long as the timeline allows it.

What should I have ready in the room for the artists on the day of the event?ChatGPT said: Our artists will require a large, flat surface and access to electrical outlets. For hair services, we also ask that a chair be provided. Our team will bring a makeup chair, lighting, extension cords, and any other necessary equipment. If any adjustments need to be made to the room, rest assured that everything will be returned to its original place before the artists leave. Additionally, it’s always appreciated if water and snacks are available, especially for longer mornings.

What Should I Wear to My Trial?It's always best to wear whatever color that you are getting married in. This will help you get the best representation of how the finished makeup will enhance the overall desired look. If you are having a hair trial as well, you may feel your best if you wear a shirt that is a similar cut or style as the top of your dress.

Should I Straighten My Hair First if it is Curly?Typically, hair curls and styles better in its natural state. If the hair is flat ironed, the curl may not hold as well. Our hair stylists are versed in all hair textures, so prior straightening is not necessary. If your desired style does require the hair to be straightened, then we recommend a blow out either one day prior, or in addition to the styling service that is being booked.

Do the Hair Stylists Work with Extensions?Absolutely! Our stylists can apply clip in or halo extensions as long as they are human hair and can be heat treated. There is an additional fee to place and style extensions so please let us know in advance if this service is needed so that we can contract and schedule accordingly. If you are interested in extensions and need a recommendation please let us know and we will be happy to provide details!

How Should Everyone Have Their Hair on the Day of?We ask that everyone arrives with clean and dry hair upon arrival. If your hair has a lot of texture, blow drying it straight prior would be best for your stylist. If you have natural curls that you would like styled you can use any curl products you prefer to improve your natural texture. Please ensure your hair is still dry and then your stylist will work to perfect your curl pattern and create your desired style. If you arrive with damp or wet hair an additional blow dry fee will be incurred.

What Products do the Makeup Artists Use?Our Artists use the highest quality products in their professional kits to create flawless looks for brides and their parties. We also have options for all skin types, including sensitive skin. In addition, we are happy to apply any of your own products that you would like to have used for your look.
